Qatar Duty Free Company is one of the largest duty free retailers in the world, with more than 90 boutiques and luxury, high-end stores, as well as more than 30 restaurants and cafés covering an area of 40,000 square meters at Hamad International Airport (HIA), home to QDF. QDF boasts many renowned international luxury brands, including Gucci, Bulgari, Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Moncler, Rolex and Harrods.

The following are metrics of my accomplishments during my tenure
- Conceived and launched the individual target scheme for staff which solely boosted electronics sales for the whole quarter by 20%.
- Increased guest penetration by 2% this Financial year through effective Merchandising techniques, customer service as well as maintaining a good relationship with the team.
- Boosted the Average Transaction Value by 3% in the final quarter of 2019 year through Upselling and Cross selling, analysis of individual staff ATV and offering training, as well as recognising the team when they met their targets.
- Lifted Spend Per Passenger by 2% against Last Year by providing the guests with quality hospitality, educating and training the team about products and services as well as current and future promotions to influence purchasing decisions.
- Slashed Shrinkage by 1% this financial year by training the team and leading by example in taking ownership of loss prevention, acknowledging every guest and always keeping the store tidy.
